Exceptional Metroidvania Goodness

Donut Games has a history of making solid games with more arcade style play (given 19 or so of their games that I own). This is a departure from that as this game is an open world platform puzzler. Like Metroid or Castlevania but maybe a bit more Indiana Jones. This is not just a random indie looking affair either but something with the polish that the big N put in their platformer a back in the 90s. Sure all Donut Games titles have a lot of polish but this one is a new level of polish even for them. If you like this genre, this is the game to get. If you love the genre as I do this one doesnt disappoint. I give it my highest rating.
